While I don’t know the extent of where you will be going. I am going to presume it could be chilly enough so I would recommend a light jumper or jacket to go with it. I would probably recommend a cotton/wool jumper over something with a polyester lining since it is just a t-shirt you have on underneath. Otherwise it could cause uncomfortable sweating. A tab. This is distinguished from a garter, which is a sort of scrunchie Victorian men once wore to hold up their rolled up sleeve. Most women I know prefer to wear short sleeve T-shirts! I think they are more comfortable and easy to style. You can dress them up or down and they always look cute. Would depend on the wearer. There are factors that might make long sleeve shirts look better, such as gangly arms, arms with thick hair, or maybe it matches the pants style better. Also of high importance is fit, you want shoulder seams right over the outer corner of the shoulders, chest and waist not too baggy or too tight, and correct sleeve lengths. Yes it would be very odd to combine long sleeved shirts with shorts, however there are certain times when a long sleeved shirt is an advantage. When I cut my garden hedge I usually adopt a long sleeved shirt as I find the Leylandii hedge brings my arm out in a rash and the sleeves give protection. I personally love to wear short-sleeved shirts over long-sleeved shirts when it’s hot outside! I think it’s a great way to add an extra layer of protection from the sun while still staying cool. From my experience, I like to wear long sleeve shirts under short sleeve shirts, especially in the cold seasons, because it keeps me warmer and/or I just want to wear that specific short sleeve shirt that day.
